Hand and Associates is an internationally recognized executive management consulting firm, with the primary emphasis on coaching and career transition services and a variety of management programs that directly address client leadership, placement, and training needs.

Founded by J. Kevin Hand in 1991, the Company’s clients cover a wide range of industries including medical/biotech, petroleum, entertainment/media, insurance, retail, education/universities industries. 

Domestically based clients include Target, Nestle Brand Food Corp, Northrop Grumman, HealthNet, Federal Reserve Bank, Cedars-Sinai Health System, Pepperdine University, Federated Department Stores, Fox Animation, Fox Cable, News Corp., Paramount, MGM/UA, MTV Networks, Nickelodeon, and NBC Universal. 

International clients have been Corte Ingles, one of Spain’s largest retailers; British Petroleum; Bertelsmann M.G., Germany; and Thomson S.A., France.

With a rich history of executive coaching, Kevin began his career in 1985 when he opened a Los Angeles office for a Chicago-based company. By 1991, Kevin grew the branch to a multi-million dollar revenue producer. It was during this time Kevin gauged that the executive placement industry did not understand the needs of West Coast companies, particularly the international population and business composition of Los Angeles. In addition, the entertainment industry, with its unique combination of creative and business skills, was being underserved. Kevin founded Hand & Associates to address these needs.
